1 Grosvenor Square

Our team played a crucial role in the form work design and implementation of multiple Temporary works packages for the prestigious 1 Grosvenor Square building. Our meticulous reconstruction strategy allowed for the successful dismantle of significant façades and the construction of a new substructure, enabling the incorporation of modern amenities and minor adjustments to the building's hierarchy. These enhancements have improved the building's performance while preserving its historical significance.

Brooklands

The collaboration between Archer Humphryes architects, Discommon, and Neal Feay in Santa Barbara resulted in the stunning Concorde sculpture at the Brooklands Lounge. We were required to design the amazing support for this iconic structure.

The Peninsula Hotel

We were charged with providing innovative engineering solutions for the top-down construction challenges at The Peninsula London. Working closely with a team of specialists, we have pushed the design to its limits and utilised digital models to meet the project's quality and construction requirements.

Project Reality

We were appointed to carry out the temporary works package for the cut and carve demolition methodology showcases our expertise in integrating this technique into a complex redevelopment project. This approach was crucial in retaining and modifying a key part of the existing structure, notably including the addition of new floors. Reflecting broader industry trends towards sustainability and economic efficiency, this project exemplifies our ability to adapt to environmental considerations and urban planning challenges. Our success in this project not only highlights our skill in controlled demolition and structural modification but also underscores our commitment to innovative, sustainable construction practices.

Oxyx Building

From an engineering perspective, the Onyx Development’s standout feature is its extensive use of glass cladding. This design choice not only imparts a sleek and modern aesthetic but also serves a functional purpose. The glass facade ensures maximum penetration of natural light, illuminating each apartment’s interiors and offering residents breathtaking views of the north London skyline, Regent’s Canal, and the picturesque Granary Square.

Smithills Vale

At the heart of the Smithills Vale development lies a commitment to engineering innovation, seamlessly integrated with environmental considerations. Located on the periphery of the
West Pennine Moors, this project presented unique challenges and opportunities from a structural engineering standpoint.

Vauxhall Bridge Road

In this project, my primary role as a Temporary Works Designer was centered on designing two new concrete cores, crucial for the stability of the new structure. Faced with a constrained site, I focused on innovative solutions for the demolition of an existing building and the construction of a new one with multiple levels. My responsibilities included planning restricted headroom piling works and overseeing ground works in a tight space. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, I ensured our designs met both safety and efficiency standards, playing a key role in maintaining structural integrity throughout the project.
